Trading Diary ~ Monday 11th February 2013

10:25am (CET)  ~ One of the things I miss when I’m out here is a bit of Clay-Pigeon shooting, so I am off to Alzira to see a farmer who has a Electric Clay-Pigeon Trap for sale – it’s around 100kms north of here so I will be back later this afternoon,  in time hopefully do some ‘evening’ trading.

21:20 (CET)  ~  I got back here at 3pm after a successful expedition to purchase a clay-trap – and settled down to do some email replies plus have 3 Skype calls with new traders.    At 6pm (local time) I switched on my S&P500 chart on the MT4 platform and began watching for trade set-ups on my “Trade With A Day Job” evening strategy.

The first ‘pattern’ started emerging just at 18:45 and a few minutes later I was in a ‘long’ trade – and just over 2hrs later, while still in the first trade, a second set-up came up so I also got into a trade at that point as soon as the price rose upto the trigger level.  My first trade hit its 20 pip target just after 21:15 so I got out of both positions then. I managed 20 pips plus 10 pips for the second one.

Out now to the Altea Hills Hotel up the road for a small party with some friends.

Daily Target Reached ?    YES  (+30 pips)        I just traded the evening session today.
