7:35am (CET) ~ I am off for a couple of days upto Barcelona to see some trader friends. We’re doing 2 days of racing at Circuit de Catalunya, and I will be back here on Sunday.
Tomorrow is the first Friday of February, so it’s Non Farm Payroll Day in the U.S., their employment figures are released at lunchtime (UK time) As you probably know, the markets tend to lack any sort of volume, so trading is tricky before the announcement. Getting into the market after the announcement is fraught with danger, as prices on various instruments are prone to high volatility, it’s best to just have a day off from the markets.
