Trading Diary ~ Monday 12th November 2012

10:05am  ~  My plan today was to fly back to Alicante and stay in Altea for a few more days and then back to the UK on Thursday, but I now need to return to England today so I’m now scouring the web for a flight this evening.

If you trade currencies, today maybe a bit thin on volume as there is a U.S. Bank Holiday all day (Veteran’s Day) but the stock market over there is still open, so my systems will be unaffected.

8:45pm  ~  Bad news is I’m sitting here at Barcelona Airport waiting for a (delayed) flight back to Stansted – but the good news is I’ve just closed off an “Evening” trade on the S&P500 – it was a ‘short’ with entry just before 7:30pm and my score just came out at +30 pips.  Also this afternoon, I had an “Any-Time”  short trade on the same instrument and managed just over 40 pips by the time I came out of it a few minutes before 4pm.

We should be back in the UK by 11pm if all goes to plan.

Daily Target Reached ?  YES  (+72 pips)        I traded for a few hours after lunch plus a short session this evening on my iPad
