Trading Diary ~ Wednesday 10th October 2012

8:45am  ~   No trading for me this morning, I’m off to Wood’s Garage in Great Easton to have a meeting about an old car they’re starting to restore for me.  It’s been in my garage for over a year waiting for me to start but it has eventually dawned on me that I just do not have the time to do it properly. Back this afternoon to do some customer emails and a couple of Skype calls with prospective clients.

9:55pm  ~  I turned a laptop on at 5pm here is the kitchen to watch for any signals on my “evening” system. I am often asked if new customers have to watch their chart non-stop, but it’s not neccessary – you just have to have a quick look every so often during the session as the pattern you’re looking for is quite easy to spot.  Anyway – this pattern started to emerge around 6:20pm and at 6:40 I was in a short trade on the S&P500 index. The trade was shortly stopped out with a -18 loss. The next opportunity came up just after 8pm and this one gave me +45 pips, so I ended up with an overall profit for the evening.

Daily Target Reached ?  YES  (+27 pips)     I just traded the evening session today
