Trading Diary ~ Monday 15th October

7:45am  ~  Back to Chelmsford for me early this morning, I am attending a friend’s funeral – he was the landlord of two of my ‘locals’ over the past 2o years. I may be back in time to do some ‘evening’ trading, I’ll report back later.

Capital Spread’s Morning Commentary has some interesting opinions regarding a Romney win in the forthcoming U.S. elections – and the possible changes to the way the Fed runs the economy/banking sector over there. Read the full article here

8:40pm  ~  I got in just after 6pm and straight away switched this laptop on to watch my S&P500 chart – and I didn’t have too long to wait, a trade set-up started developing just after 6:30pm although I waited a while for the price to hit my exact entry level. This trade was stopped out a few moments after 7:30 (at minus 12 pips) but another ‘pattern’ emerged quite quickly and by 7:50pm I was in a ‘long’ trade (going along with the trend)  I came out of this trade a few minutes ago with a profit of +32 pips, so giving me an overall score of 20 pips for my evening trading session.

Daily Target Reached ?  YES  (+20 pips)     I just traded for a few hours during the evening session
