Non-Farm-Payrolls Day ~ Friday 3rd June 2011

As you all are probably aware, the 1st Friday of every month is when the USA announce their unemployment level, and as they are the biggest economy in the world the new numbers affect the whole of the world’s stock and money markets. Those markets will tend to float along all morning, prior to the announcement time (at 1:30pm UK time) waiting for some confirmation of direction. As these markets have no real direction this morning it is not worth entering any trades, as the scope of movement is very small. Today you should have a day off, or if you are new to trading, just sit and watch. As usual I have Fridays off anyway – to elongate my weekend.

It is 9:00am and as it is NFP day, I was not interested in getting up very early, so I have only just got into the kitchen and started to have a look at some emails, and also write this blog. The rest of the day will be spent sorting out the new design/text for the new updated Markets Mastered website, and catch up on emails from customers. The new trendFX system will be available over the weekend, so if you have not registered your interest, just email me.

Max has put my trading results for May 2011 with my “Evening” system on the results page of the website. I managed 541 pips just trading in the evening with my ‘Trade With A Day Job‘ system. I day-traded for just 10 days last month and traded my way to a score of +657 ~ mainly mornings with my new ‘Price~Action’ strategy, so a grand total of nearly 1200 pips ! One of my best months in the past few years. If you want to learn how to trade as I do, just drop me an email and I will show you how to do it.

I shall be here in London until lunchtime, and then I shall be making my way to my cottage in Suffolk and greet my 4 weekend guests. I hope you all have a nice, relaxing weekend as well.
