my trading day ~ thursday 5th may 2011

Off to Norfolk later on this morning, to sort out a deal on a barn I bought a few months ago.   I was up at 6 o’clock and after breakfast, I managed to sit in front of my 2 computer screens I have in my new study for a few hours to do a bit of trading, and at 7:00am I started watching for trades with my “USA Forex” system. Just after 7:30 a potential trade signal showed up, and at 7:46am I was in a long trade (EUR/USD) The price went off in the right direction almost immediately and by 8:31 I closed the trade off with my target of +25 pips obtained.

At 9 o’clock I left London on my bike for Norfolk – and once I have finished sorting out the barn, I will be staying at my cottage in Southwold (Suffolk) for the weekend, so I should be there by 5 o’clock this evening. I will update this blog later this evening.

Update 9pm ~ I arrived here in Southwold (Suffolk) at 6 o’clock (after managing to sell the barn to a developer for cash) and whipped out a laptop to watch for potential trades on my “Evening” system, but by 8 o’clock there was nothing very interesting, so I called it a day and had a wander up the beach to my favourite pub – The Lord Nelson – for a few pints of Adnams.

Daily Target Reached ? YES (+25 pips) I traded early morning and a few hours this evening
