My Trading Day ~ Monday 9th May 2011

9:15am. I am still up in my cottage in Suffolk, and my idea is to stay here all week, and try to finish updating my 3 trading manuals. Hopefully with NO distractions (no visitors or planned activities) I can concentrate with just this one task.

I was up quite early this morning and by 6:30am I was downstairs in the kitchen with some charts up on a laptop – watching for potential trades with both of my ‘day-time’ strategies. Almost immediately I found two possible trades, one on EUR/USD and the other on a Brent Oil chart. My 1st entry was at exactly 7 o’clock using a brand-new strategy which I am going to include in my updated USA Forex Trading Manual. Two minutes later I entered a 2nd long trade (Any-Time system) on Brent Oil. My 1st trade went on until 7:17am and I came out of the trade with +32 pips.  I did have a small signal around 7 o’clock on my Gold chart, but I did want further confirmation, so I waited for another clue, and I eventually entered long at 8:07am. Moments after this, I came out of my 2nd (Brent Oil) trade with +42 pips, and finally at 8:45am I closed off my 3rd trade with a profit of +41 pips   – very happy with the last few hours work.

This morning will be spent answering emails – and this afternoon I am going to get going with the trading system updates.

If you are interested in the new strategy in my USA Forex System, just email me at the usual address to register your interest. The system is still the same as it has been for the last few years, but I have added an additional pattern to watch for that is a very reliable with certain charts.

I will update you later on my evening trading.

Update 9:05pm: Just off to get some supper – but earlier I had 2 trades with my “Trade With A Day Job” - the first one at 7:30pm and the second one just before 8 o’clock – they gave me a profit of 20 pips each, so I had an overall profit for the day of 155 pips. Tomorrow I shall be doing a bit of trading in the morning, and then emails and trading system updating for the rest of the day.

Daily Target Reached ? YES (+155 pips)
