my trading day ~ tuesday 15th february 2011

Landed back at Stansted on Monday night, and the ‘Valentines’ evening went as planned.

Not too an early start for me this morning as a fair amount of Chateauneuf-du-Pape was consumed last night. By the way, if you ever find yourself just north of Avignon where they make this type of wine, you can purchase it from a few vineyards thereabouts for around 5 euros a bottle, much better than £15-£25 that is charged over here. Take a large van or estate car!!

Anyway – the alarm went off at 7:30 I was down in the kitchen at just before 8 o’clock ready for the start of my working day. I had 2 trade signals come up very quickly (one each on my “Any-Time/”USA Forex” systems) and I was in my first (long) trade at 8:02 and then the 2nd one eleven minutes later. From the off, they both went up very quickly, so I let them run on while I got on with cooking breakfast (Eggs Benedict + Smoked Salmon).  My first trade started to run out of steam after an hour and a half, so I closed it off at 9:33 (at +39 pips) and I thought I may as well close the other one off at the same time (+53 pips) so I could concentrate on other things – mainly sorting things out at the house after my long weekend in Spain.

I took the train into London at 5pm as a few of us were going to see superb show – “We Will Rock You” at The Dominion Theatre, so I traded my “Evening” system on one of my Netbooks (with a Vodafone dongle that works very well) on the way up there. I got into a ‘short’ trade by a quarter to six and was out with +23 pips just before 7:15pm.

Brilliant show as ever (I’ve now seen it 4 times in the last 10 years) and we caught the last train home at half past midnight.

Daily Target Reached ?  YES (+115 pips)
