my trading day ~ monday 31st january 2011

Back home after the last 4 days  in Suffolk – I was up early at 7am this morning, and at my desk in my home office (above the garage) at 7:30 trying out my newly installed Gaggia coffee maker (next to my Budweiser fridge !!)

It was not long after I had got my charts sorted and had a look at the various websites I check before trading that my 1st signal came up (on my “Any-Time” strategy)  and I entered a short trade at exactly 7:45am, which ended up lasting through until 8:53am. My 2nd trade was entered at one minute past 8 o’cock and only lasted 34 minutes before it was closed off with a +31 pip profit. The first trade made me +36 pips by the time that was shut-off.

The rest of the morning was spent answering emails – I had over 200 come in yesterday/early this morning from southern-asian countries for some reason – very strange.

The middle of the day was spent out on my bike – I want to try to aim for a 20 mile ride each day. I managed that today, and was back around 2:30pm for some more emailing.

Not sure about trading my “Evening” system later – it is my 2nd anniversary with the girlfriend, and I have booked a table at our local Loch Fyne restaurant at 8 o’clock, although she is coming round earlier for champagne and canapes before the taxi is arriving. I’ll keep you posted.

Update 11:30pm I did watch the S&P chart earlier for my “Evening” system, but by the time the night’s celebrations started (at 6:30pm) there were no signals.

Daily Target Reached ? YES (+66pips)
