my trading day ~ wednesday 1st december 2010 (+november results)

As I have been ‘Up North’ for the past few days, this snow down in the South-East of the country has come as a complete surprise. I spent this morning pulling marooned cars out of the snow drifts with my old (1959) Land Rover (which only comes out once or twice a year) and also replied to a few emails that had come in over the weekend. The afternoon was spent clearing the snow from my front driveway and also from a few of my elderly neighbours gardens as well.

I was back inside at 5pm to watch for trades on my “Evening” system – and at 6:25pm my signal came up and within a few minutes I was in a LONG trade. Typically, the index started losing its momentum after 30 minutes or so, and by the time that the New York session was coming to a close, my trade was bearly in profit, so at 8:50 I threw in the towel and stopped the trade at +3 pips.

November’s performance:

At 9:30pm I had a quick bite to eat, and then sat down in the kitchen to do my accounts for November. My “Day-Time” trading (Either my ‘Any-Time’ or ‘USA Forex’ systems) accumulated profits of 464 pips for the past month, and my “Evening” strategy (Trade With A Day Job) had a profit of 290 pips for 13 days trading. Out of those 13 evenings trading, I had 11 winning sessions and just 2 losing ones – quite a good average I am sure you’d agree? My day-time trading had NO losing days, and in total I managed +754 pips profit for November
