my trading day ~ thursday 2nd december 2010

I stayed at my girlfriend’s house last night, so I was up ‘early doors’ clearing the snow off both our cars at 6am. She has a 25 mile commute and I have just a mile to get to my ‘office’ this morning !

I was installed in my home office (after breakfast) at 8:10am watching for trades with my “Any-Time” strategy. My 1st signal came up at 9am and I was in a LONG trade on the EUR/JPY at 9:07 ~ and 4 minutes later I was in a SHORT USD/CAD trade. My first trade shot up and within 26 minutes the score was +25 pips, so I closed it off there. My second trade was not advancing in any great numbers ~ and I was happy with my first trade profit ~ so I shut that one off 5 minutes later at +7 pips, so all in all, I came away from my morning session with +32 pips, just above my daily target.

The rest of the day was spent at a friend’s farm shooting a few clays.  I will report back later regarding my “Evening” system

Late Evening Report: As usual, I was in front of my laptop at 5pm, ready to trade my “Trade With A Day Job” system in my back sitting room, and at 5:30 I had my first trade signal, so within a few minutes I was in a LONG trade on the S&P Daily Index. This was stopped out 45 minutes later with a 14 pip loss.  My next signal came up at 6:10pm and that went off in the right direction from the start ! As you will be able to see when you look at my screenshot for the evening (if you are a customer), I came out of that trade at 9:12pm with a profit of  +44 pips, so giving me an overall profit for the evening of +30 pips.

My total earnings for the day came out at +62 pips, so I am very happy.

Tomorrow being Friday, I am not trading,  even though my plans to fly from Gatwick for a few days holiday have been curtailed (snow on the runway ~ or the wrong type of leaves in the airport car-park)  ~ I am instead going to spend the weekend at my cottage in Southwold.

I will report back tomorrow on my trading performance (profit/loss) during November
