my trading day ~ wednesday 8th december

Up quite early this morning (7am) as I have a meeting in town (at Starbucks/8:00am) with some friends to have a chat about a business project I am investing in. I will have my small NetBook with me, so I can do some trading if the meeting gets too boring or goes on too long. I will report back later with my results (if any!!)

Update at 11am. Well, I did manage to do a few trades earlier, there was a quick flurry of opportunities a few minutes before 9am, and within 2 minutes, I was in 4 trades (1. EUR/USD 2. AUD/USD 3. GBP/USD 4. USD/CHF) using my “USA Forex” system for entry rules. My results were: Out of my first trade at 9:12 (+27 pips) and out of my 2nd one a few seconds later (+20 pips) My 3rd trade hit its target at 9:17 (+10 pips) and the 4th one was going absolutely nowhere so a minute later I closed that off for a small loss (-4 pips) as I had already achieved +57 pips with my first 3 trades. The meeting (and coffees) flowed until 10:30 when I left for home.

Update at 9:30pm.  I actually did my ‘evening’ trading in a waiting room at Queens Hospital in Romford tonight ! Let me explain. My girlfriend wanted to visit a friend who is in a coma (in Intensive Care) at the hospital, so being the gallant chap I am,  I offered to drive her the 30 miles or so, to get her there. We left my place at 4:30 and arrived in the hospital car park 45 minutes later.  Once inside, I obviously waited out in the waiting room while she was in sitting with her friend – and so I got out my laptop and started watching for trade signals just after 5:30 ( a bit later than usual) with my “Trade With A Day Job” strategy. My first signal came up at 6pm and one minute later I had entered a long trade. By 6:42 my trade profit had reached +30 pips, so I came out there – happy with my ‘over target’ profit tonight.

So, an overall profit today of +83 pips, for around 2.5 hours work in total (including ‘watching the charts’ time)
