my trading day ~ monday 6th december 2010

As is usual, my Monday morning start was not particularly early ~ I was ready for a walk to my local newsagents at 9am (too slippery to cycle) and then a hearty breakfast followed at 9:45am.

I was installed in my study at 10:30am – watching for trades on my USA Forex System. Nothing much happening this morning, so I got on with some emails and general admin work. Instead of staring at all my computer screens non-stop, I set my on-screen alarm at 30 minutes, which reminds me to have a quick look at all the charts I am watching, to see if I can spot the early signs of a trade opportunity.

Just after 12:30pm I spotted a possible trade signal, and by 12:39 I was in a short trade with one of the major FX pairs.  Nothing else showed up and exactly one hour later, I was out of my only trade of the day with a handy profit of +25 pips  ~  my daily target :-)

The rest of the afternoon is going to spent with Ted (my gardener) looking at trade set-ups as part of his trading education. He has mastered my “Evening” system, and is now learning my “Any-Time” strategy.

I will report back later when I trade my “Evening” system.

Evening Update: Myself and Ted started watching for trades on my “Evening” system at 5pm. All in all I had 3 trades, and I came out with a profit of +10 pips – I had two losing trades and the last one was a winner.

My total for the day came out at a +35 pip profit
