my trading day ~ wednesday 10th november 2010

I had quite an early start this morning (for these winter months) and I was in the kitchen with a large mug of coffee at 7am, watching a few charts on my laptop. I must admit, I do enjoy a bit of a lie-in when the weather is grim outside!!

Having a look at some charts it looked like another day for my “USA Forex” system, and I spotted my 1st trade at 7:30 and I was in the trade (EUR/USD) a few minutes later. That trade lasted for just 16 minutes and I profited by +15 pips. The next signal came along at 9am and that one lasted a bit longer – it wasn’t until 11:14am that I closed that one off for a +37 pip profit. That was me done trading for the day, I have just bought a new trading book and I am keen to finish it in the next few days. It is authored by a guy I have met on numerous occasions when he used to work for IG Index – Steve Ward – and I would recommend any trader to get hold of a copy “High Performance Trading”

I spent the rest of the day reading and then answering a few emails, and at 4:50pm I sat down in the kitchen again to trade my “Evening”  system (Trade With A Day Job)   I had one trade that signaled at 5pm and I entered 5 minutes later. By 6pm I had achieved my usual target of +20 pips so I closed the trade off there.

The total profit for my trading day came out at +72 pips
