my trading day ~ tuesday 12th october 2010

An early start to ‘my trading day’ – I managed an invigorating cycle ride earlier, and I was back home by 7am, and went straight from shower to kitchen table and 2 laptops  (I usually trade in either my home study, or my office in the garden)

I was watching for trades using my “Any-Time” system together with my ‘free’ strategy that most of you have (if not get it here) and my first trade signal came along just before 7:30am (USD/JPY) and I was in the trade a few moments later.  This trade went on until 10am, and I came out with +16 pips. In the meantime I had my 2nd trade at 8:49 (EUR/USD)  and the 3rd was a few minutes after that. Both of these were cashed in just before 10am and I came out with +39 and +15 pips respectively.

With that many pips under my belt (70)  I deemed it appropriate to finish my trading for the day, and the rest of the day is going to be spent doing emails and sorting out a few computer problems. I will report back this evening, after I have traded my “Evening” system.

Evening Update: Trading my “Evening” system started off with a signal at 5:20pm and as there was economic news being announced at 7pm, all trades had to finished by then. Unfortunately the index I was trading did not really get going after my trade signal, and I closed it off a few moments before 7pm with a break-even outcome.

My total profit for the day therefore stood at +70 pips
