my trading day ~ thursday 16th september 2010

Not a particular early start today – as I a very late night is coming up, I am out with some fellow traders in London tonight. That probably sounds like a very boring evening, but we will probably only talk ‘shop’ for 5% of the 6 hours we will be in the bars and clubs around Covent Garden/Soho.

Anyway, I managed to report for trading duties in my study by 8am, and it was clear from the off that there was not much happening in the markets this morning, but I did  spot a possible trade around 8:30, and it was triggered at 8:45am when I entered SHORT on the GBP/USD (Cable) Forex Pair. Just 47 minutes later I was out of the trade with a +50 pips profit. That will do me for the day.

Off to London now (4:45pm) and looking at the U.S. markets at the moment, it’s going to be a hairy ride for the rest of the session !

No trading for me tomorrow, I am staying in London for a few days, so I will wish you a nice, relaxing weekend.
