my trading day ~ tuesday 25th may 2010

Hello to all you traders and trainee traders out there.

After yesterday’s poor showing during my day-time trading session, I am going to forget my ‘daily’ target (+25 pips) and see how many pips I can accumulate during the day.

I suppose it would have been a good idea to start at the crack of dawn if I wanted a heap of pips, but I did eventually sit down in my garden office at 9:30am, so it wasn’t too late for a start to the working day.

My first trade was entered at 9:48 (USD/YEN) with my “Any-Time” system, and that came out at +15 pips, a bit short of my ‘normal’ daily target. Just after 11:30 I had another signal on the same instrument, and that went on to lose me 26 pips, so it as clear my ‘working’ day was not going to be a walk in the park like usual !! My 3rd trade signal of the day came on the same Forex pair and by the time I had grown bored with it (just before 5pm !!) it came out with a profit of +33 pips.

In between that extremely long trade, I also had one that kicked off just before 2pm (EURO/DOLLAR) that ended at +20 pips and 30 mins later another EUR/USD trade which added +57 pips to my account. At exactly the same time as that last trade – a signal showed me a potential trade on cable (GBP/USD) so I took that as well (for +24 pips)

So even though it was an unusually long ‘working’ day for me (9:30am to 4:40pm) I did come out with a profit of +123 pips.

I carried on in front of the screens to trade my “Evening” system (Trade With A Day Job) and I had 3 trades with that strategy and ended the evening with +41 pips, so all in all, my day’s earnings came in at +164 pips.
