my trading day ~ tuesday 18th may 2010

Hello to you all, it’s my first day back working ‘full-time’ and I am really looking forward to it.

Not the usual early start though, as no exercise is allowed, so I was at my desk around 9am watching for trade signals on my “Any-Time” system. It normally takes me around 10 minutes to do all the preparation work (Getting the charts sorted, looking through yesterday’s trading diary/journal, noting any important financial news coming out etc.) so I was ready and waiting by about 9:15am.

My first trade on the “Any-Time” system came along on the EUR/USD at 9:46am ( a short trade) and and lasted around 45 minutes, when it then hit its target of +34 pips (there was a trade on cable at exactly the same time, but the risk:reward was hopeless, so I left that alone) So my first day back at work – and I had reached my daily target already (+25 pips), so I spent the rest of the day catching up on emails and doing general admin work.

My part-time “Trade With A Day Job” evening system showed a signal just before 6pm, and as there was a nice trend in place, I entered the trade and just kept moving the stops down (it was a “short” trade) and I ended the trade just before 9pm with a score of +166 pips.

All in all, a nice first day back to work,  my total earnings for the day was exactly +200 pips.
