my trading day ~thursday 20th may 2010.

Hello there to all of you. I hope your week is proving to be profitable.

Continuing my theme of getting up later than is normal for me, I was ready for ‘work’ (Trading) at around 10:30am this morning.  Scanning across my charts, most of them were just moving side ways, with no apparent trend. Not the type of day us traders enjoy !! The only one that showed any promised was the Forex pair US Dollar/Japanese Yen (USD/JPY) so I kept my eye on that one with my trend following strategy – the USA Forex System.

Not long after, and a trade signal came up,and I entered short (down) just after 11:00am. The obvious target for this trade was around +40 pips, so I just let the price wander down, moving the stops as it went, and I stopped the trade off just after midday with +40 pips added to my account.

A FREE TRADING SYSTEM ? SURELY NOT !!

I did have another trade after my lunch-break  - which has an interesting story attached to it. A old trader friend of mine suggested that I Gave Away a simple trading system on my website,( a strategy that I have been using on and off for years) as a bit of a ‘Good-Will’ type of thing to do. Well, these thoughts have been bumbling around my pea-size brain for quite a while now, but I have at last come to the conclusion that it is probably a good idea. All I have to do now is to get it onto a PDF Doc !! I have promised myself that I will get it done by the end of next week.

Anyway – just before 3pm, I noticed the signal for this simple system, and I duly entered a trade, and came out with +68 pips after about 20 minutes of trading.

My Evening System “Trade With A Day Job” gave me a signal for a trade at 6pm, and as it was a certain type of ‘signal’ it meant there maybe some extra pips on offer (you guys who have the system know what I mean)  It all turned out ok, and I came out of the trade around 30 mins later with +61 pips for the evening trade.

So – all in all – quite a successful (and interesting) day – my total profit being +179 pips
