my trading day ~ tuesday 9th march 2010

Hello to you all – still bloomin’ cold here in the south-east of the UK !

A bracing cycle ride started my morning off at 8am, and I was back in front of the computers at just after 10am, ready and waiting for my first trade signal on the “Any-Time” strategy.

A very quiet morning ensued, and I was able to get on with some admin work and emails, as the first signal did not show itself until 12:45 !! It was a trade on the EUR/YEN Forex pair and that one came out at -19 pips. I then had a flurry of trades all just before 2pm with a cable trade kicking things off, followed closely by EUR/YEN, EUR/USD and finally USD/CHF. I let all the trades run to their respective targets, as you do not know in advance which are going to be winners at the start. An hour or so later, I had +58 pips in the bag (inc. my initial losing trade)  as they all turned out to be winners. I was also watching the S&P500 daily index, but no trades were signalled on that instrument.

I had a mid-afternoon walk across the fields for a bit of exercise, and was back just after 5pm to trade my “evening” system. I had 2 trades to reach my target of +20 pips, one at 5:25pm and another at 6:30pm.

So, all in all, a nice profitable day – I ended up with +78 pips, more than my original target. Happy days…..
