my trading day ~ 2nd february ’10

I was up early this morning (6am) – but initially I got onto my bike and went off for an invigorating 2 hr cycle ride, and then off to the golf course for a couple of hours. I was back at lunchtime, and after a quick bite to eat, I was in my study at 1pm, ready and waiting for my first signal. Today I was watching charts from the S&P500, EUR/USD,  EUR/YEN and USD/CAD, although there were no trades at all from the EUR/YEN currency pair. This does happen occasionally, the markets are entirely random, so no real surprise.

Anyway – my first trade came along at at 1.17pm (EUR/USD – Any-Time System) and gave me an opening profit of +10 pips. Four more trades occurred before I called it a day at 4pm and my total for the few hours of work was +22 pips. I had 3 winning trades and 2 losing ones. A high percentage of losers today – not at all the norm, but that does not matter with proper stop loss levels in place and careful money management. This is all shown in great detail in my system manuals.

I was back in front of my screens at 5pm to trade my evening system, and that achieved the normal +20 pips, so the total for the day came out at +42 pips.
