my trading day ~ tuesday 5th january 2010

Good morning to you all – a welcome return for me to normal trading again after my extended Christmas break.

An early start for me as I was keen to get going, so I was in front of the computers in my home office at 7am, ready for the first trade signal with my “Any-Time” system. That came along at just after 7:15am on the Euro/Dollar FX pair and gave me a starting profit for the day of +30 pips.  I had another 4 trades before I broke for lunch at just after 1pm, when I had a nice 5 mile cycle ride in this biting cold weather we are experiencing.

Back at 2:30pm for a short afternoon trading period, and I completed another 2 trades before I finished the day-time session at a quarter to four. I was very pleased with my first day back in front of my screens and from 7 trades today I managed a profit of +123 pips. No losses today either !  I was trading my usual favourites – FTSE, DAX, S&P, Euro/Dollar, Euro/Yen and the US/Canadian Dollar.

I was back in the office at 5pm to trade my ‘Evening’ system (Trade With A Day Job) and I had 2 trades which gave me the usual +20 pips, so all in all – a profit of +143 pips for the day. Very happy!
