My Trading Day ~ Thursday 8th October ’09

Hello there. Back to a normal ~ well for me anyway ~ start to the ‘working’ day yesterday (Thursday) so after a nice 5 mile cycle* ride to get the old ticker working, I filled myself up with some strong coffee and I was ready in front of the screens at 7am. I had planned to only trade the morning session as I had other work to do – and I really wanted to concentrate completely even though my afternoon’s project still meant being in front of the computers. The great joy of trading the markets is that you can choose your working hours – and as you work at home, you can also get involved with normal family life whenever you want to. I remember years ago when I used to run another business – I was out of the front door at 8am in the morning and did not return until 7pm. My work life balance is so much more agreeable than those days. And back then I had to work on Saturdays!  It is so nice that the markets close on Fridays!

Anyway – back to my trading ~ once installed in front of the screens, I only had to wait 30 mins and I had my first trade (on the USD/CHF currency pair) for +10 pips. I had another 5 more trades before I finnished my ‘Trading Day’ and had a quick lunch break at 1:30pm. My total came out at 65 pips, so that was nice for a half day’s labour.

Many of you know that I also trade GOLD on a longer timeframe, and although I did not take them as I was otherwise engaged in the afternoon – there was 2 successful trades for around +140 pips. Please email me for details – my existing customers will already have those in their daily email that I send out ( I detail each trade that I take using both my “Any-Time” and “Evening” system in a daily mailing)

My part-time “Evening” system gave the usual 20 pips.

* My cycling is for exercise and not daily commuting !!
