my trading day ~ friday 9th October ’09

Good morning to you all – I hope you had a nice relaxing weekend.

Well, Friday was always going to be a relaxed sort of day. Not too early a start and then off for a long weekend after lunch !! A quick point of interest – out of all of my friends who trade on a daily basis, I am the ONLY one who works on a Friday – all the rest start their weekend on Thursday evening – you really can please yourself as this is a business where you do not have any customers to answer to – and when you do eventually return to work, the markets are still there, just as you left them.

Anyway – I had a quick cycle ride at 8:30am and after a relaxed breakfast I was in front of the screens at just after 9:30 waiting for a trade signal on my “Any-Time” system. My first trade came along at just before 10am – a  Long (Up) trade on the S&P500 Index. This one lost 11 pips – but the next 4 trades I had in the morning all came out in positive territory – and I finished at lunchtime with +78 pips.

I was away from the computers and off out of the door by 3pm, so I did not trade my “Trade With A Day Job” Evening System, but having looked at the charts this morning – the usual 20 pips were on offer.

During my relaxing weekend away – I did manage to do quite a bit for my U.S. Forex System, so if you would like further details please contact me by clicking  here.  I have had a lot of feedback from people in the U.S. wanting to trade my  ”Trade With A day Job”  but the hours it trades doesn’t really suit anyone living over the water, and also you are unable to Spreadbet over there (we are so fortunate in the U.K. in having NO tax to pay on our trading profits)  - so I have adapted it to work early in the morning or after work in the evening, and also added a twist to the strategy to make it even more reliable.
