My Trading day…

Good morning to you all – well what a boring listless day on the markets yesterday, everyone in the City sitting on their hands during the morning, waiting for the U.S. Jobless figures to be announced at lunchtime. And once the bad news came out at 1;30 (UK time) a large sell off ensued – made worse by the fact that a large number of  U.S. traders were liquidating their long equity trades ahead of today’s Bank Holiday, so pushing the market further down. There has been a certain amount of ‘Bargain Hunting’ on the London Stock market this morning as the banks in particular, look particularly cheap this morning.

On a lighter note, if you are increasingly appalled at restaurant prices at the moment – why not take a visit to this bargain priced new eatery in Surrey – just opened in a High Security Prison – main courses for £4.50 !! I expect a waiting list will soon build up…….

Onto my trading yesterday with the Any Time System – and as I have mentioned, the markets were a bit lack-lustre for most of the day – but despite that I managed 12 trades, of which only 2 were unprofitable – and I finished the afternoon off at +77 points, with most of the profit coming from the forex market.

Don’t forget there is no trading in the U.S. today, so not much will be happening in London – maybe a day off from the screens for you all ??

That’s it for the week – I am now off for a long weekend in the west country, so I hope you all have a good one – and I will continue my ramblings on Monday afternoon when I return.
