Monday 2nd April 2012 ~ 1st Quarter Gains For Equity Markets

10:05am  ~  Good morning to you all, there will not be much trading from me today, I’ve agreed a deal on a house out here so we’re all going down to the sellers ‘solicitor’ and the local ‘Notario’ this morning to finalise the deal then I’ll catching the early evening flight back to Stansted – although there is some disruption as French Air Traffic Control are on strike today. I shall be getting to Alicante Airport earlier than usual — around 3pm.

You can click here to read this morning’s market commentary from Capital Spreads in London – the main story today is concerning the large rise in the equity markets during the 1st three months of this year.

11:55pm  ~  Just got back home, there were delays due to the French Industrial Action. There are even more delays for the poor British travelling out to Spain, most of the flights today & tomorrow have been cancelled….

I shall be getting back to some trading tomorrow after a bit of a lie-in. Many years ago I really used to miss the charts if I had been away from them for a few days, but now I don’t even give it a second thought. I suppose it’s because I don’t need the income any more – and that’s the point I would like to get all my customers to as well.

I will report back tomorrow morning.
