My Trading Day ~ Monday 20th June 2011

My first bit of good news is that I managed to complete the cycle ride from London to Brighton yesterday – we started at 9:30 and after a lot of traffic and more hills than I thought existed in Surrey and Sussex we arrived in Brighton mid afternoon. I had realised that the traffic out of the town would be horrendous as there was nearly 30,000 cyclists competing, so I booked all of us into The Grand Hotel on the seafront for the evening. Also — I would like to thank everyone who sponsored me to do the race, the response was overwhelming, I was truly astounded by everyone’s generousity. Thanks again……

Anyway, after the exertions yesterday, I had a nice relaxing Monday, wandering around the town, shopping in The Lanes, and eating at the Marina. At the front of the hotel they have a lovely conservatory looking out onto the English Channel and as the vista was so inviting I sat down on one of the settees and watched my chart for a trade on my “Evening” trading system. Amazingly, within 15 minutes, I had 5 people watching what I was doing, with me explaining the movements of the candles and what they meant. A few minutes after 5 o’clock I did get into a ‘short’ trade (much to the amusement of the gathered crowd) and at exactly 7 o’clock I was out with my normal +20 pips. Funnily enough I also sold one of the audience a copy of my “Evening” trading system !!

The plan is to stay on here in Brighton for a few more days, as everyone is having such a relaxing time.

Daily Target Reached ? YES (+20 pips) I just traded the evening session.
