Friday 18th May 2012 ~ Credit Ratings Cut On 16 Spanish Banks

9:15am  ~   What promised to be an early (and quiet) night yesterday turned to be a bit of a surprise. I ended up getting back here at 2:30am this morning after a bit of an impromptu party in the Swan Hotel last night. I am not feeling great this morning, and I’ve now got to travel down to Clacton Flying Club to pick up a friend’s plane and take it to test a potential farm airstrip a few miles from here. Lots of orange juice and Alka Seltzers and I’ll be feeling right as rain very soon.

News on Bloomberg this morning is mainly concerned with 16 Spanish Banks having their credit ratings cut by Moody’s – read more about the story here.

Later on we’re off to Le Touquet for an overnight trip in the plane we’re using today. I am planning to leave late afternoon so we can arrive in France before the sun goes down.

I hope you all have a nice, relaxing weekend and I will report back when I am back in the UK next week
