my trading day ~ wednesday 19th january 2011

No trading this morning for me, I went Norfolk this morning with a friend who is a seasoned planning expert – I do believe he could get planning permission for a conservatory and stone cladding for Windsor Castle – we looked at a derelict barn near Winterton-on-Sea as a possible development. We both have Ducati motorbikes, so we used them as transport today.

I spent the first 2 hours of my morning (8am-10am) in my home office above the garage answering emails and doing a bit of admin, and we left at 10:30, and we returned at 4pm after a very quick road journey there and back.

My evening trading session started in my kitchen at 5pm, and my first (and only) trade was alerted by a signal at 5:15pm and at exactly 5:30 I entered a short trade. There was a lovely downward trend in place on the S&P index, so I just rode it down and came out at 8:38pm with a profit of +55 pips. Ted (my gardener) popped round just before I entered the trade, so he got in as well but stopped the trade a bit early but still managed +20 pips.

He brought round a couple bottles of Chateau Musar 2003 ( a favourite of mine) so I cooked a couple of steaks to go with it while the trades were going on. Overall a pleasant evening…

Daily Trade Target Reached ? YES (+55 pips) Even though I only traded the evening session
