my trading day ~ tuesday 25th january 2011

Up early again this morning, down in the study by 6 o’clock ~ before breakfast & shower ~  as I will be going on a cycle ride after getting my daily target. Hopefully before mid-morning.

My first trade signal on my “Any-Time” system came up just before 7 o’clock and I was in a long trade (EUR/USD) at exactly one minute past 7am. Just 4o minutes later, I came out of the trade with a bit more than my daily pip target – I managed +27 pips.

I will report back later regarding my “Evening” trading session. It’s 8am and I am off on an invigorating bike ride…..

Update 4:30pm

Trading tonight is looking doubtful, I have been invited to a ‘Burn’s Night’ celebration by my Scottish friend – Gordon. I have been instructed to bring a few bottles from my extensive Scotch Whisky collection. I am one of 9 guests – I will report back tomorrow as to the success of the evening.

Update 8:40pm

I managed to have a couple of trades before I left home to come over to Gordon’s house. My first trade was just after 5:30pm and was stopped out at -16 pips. I got into my 2nd trade a few minutes later. I put in a stop loss figure and left home for the Burn’s Night Party. It’s only a 3 minute walk, so nothing much had happened by the time I arrived. I eventually stopped the trade at +45 pips (7:30pm) and immediately entered a 3rd trade (mainly for the amusement of Gordon’s other guests) and that one climbed well and gave me +40 pips by 8:35pm.

Note later on:   I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening, the food was  ’scottish’  and we finished off many bottles of scotch.  I eventually got home at 2:30am feeling very tired and emotional. NO early start for me – a nice lie in instead I think……

Daily Trade Target Reached ? YES (+96 pips) Both (early) morning and evening session traded
