my trading day ~ wednesday 15th september 2010

I was up at 6:30am this morning, and had a brisk walk to the newsagent for some milk and a few daily newspapers, and was back in my home office by 7am ready to scan the charts. When I scan the charts for a trade, I only have to look at the charts every 30 mins or so, and that gives me time to read 2 or 3 broadsheet newspapers at the same time. I enjoy reading rather than watching the news on the TV

I had a possible trade signal (with my “Any-Time” system) on the USD/JPY Forex pair come up at 7:30 and a few minutes later it was confirmed & I entered long. The index rose rapidly, and just before 9am I closed off with a profit of +44 pips, a nice result and well over my daily target.

“Garage sorting out” for me for the rest of the day – and running repairs to my 6 bikes, but I will be back at 5pm to trade my evening system.

Update 8:30pm: I had two trades with my “Evening” system tonight, the 1st at 5:05pm which lost  -12 pips, and the 2nd at 6:20pm gave me a profit of +12 pips, so I came out at ‘break-even’ for the evening, so my earlier profit of +44 pips still stood.
