my trading day ~ monday 11th january ’10

Good morning to you all.

A nice early start for me, in this first ‘proper’ trading week of the year. I alway find the first week of the year is a little disjointed due to new year hangovers and the Non Farm Payrolls announcement.

After a quick (and invigorating) cycle ride, I was ready in front of my screens at 6:45am.  My first trade signal came along at just after 7am (with my Any-Time strategy) on the GBP/USD (Cable) currency pair and gave my me an opening profit of +22 pips. A quick note here – many of my customers set themselves a daily target – and once reached, they then stop for the day. I know a lot of you would have finished your day right now !!

My 2nd trade was at 7:15 (EUR/YEN) and that came out at +18. I had one more trade on the FTSE 100 Index (at 9am) before I broke for a quick lunch at midday – I was very hungry by then, I am not a great one for early breakfasts.

I was back in front of my screens at 1:15pm and my first trade of the afternoon session was signalled at 1:30pm (EUR/YEN) and I had another 7 trades before I called it a day at just before 5pm. My total for the day was +45 pips.

A quick cup of tea followed, and I was back in front of the screens for my “Evening Trading System” and the signal for that came along just before 6pm. That gave me the usual +20 pips. I was all finished just after 7pm with a daily profit total of +65 pips.
