Good morning to you all – I hope you have had a successful (and profitable) week.

I have a few pressing  jobs to sort out today, so the day will be spent in and out of the house, returning later to trade my evening system.

The markets were a little volatile once the U.S. session got underway (at 2:30pm GMT) and I know a lot of my customers stood aside and did not trade my “Evening” strategy - but as I had finished my errands/jobs, I decided to fire up one of the computers and settle down to see if I could earn a few pips to finish off a very profitable week.

I had a short signal at 6pm, so I entered the market at that level, but was stopped out just after 7pm with the market going nowhere really. My advice to those that did also trade that signal was to call it a day (at -16 pips) but I could see another opportunity to recoup some of the lost pips, so I had one more trade, which achieved +10 pips, so I finished the evening at -6 pips. I was very happy with that achievement on quite an unusual trading evening. Off to the pub for a chap night out now !!
