My Trading Day – Tues. 14th July

Good morning to you all.

A really lacklustre day on the markets so far today. After the FTSE futures dragged the index down in early morning trading, there was an initial buying spree for an hour or so – and since then it has been wandering around in a small 15 point channel with the main trend line (from my ‘AnyTime’ System) staying completely horizontal. Not a good sign for potential trades ! We had the Consumer Price Index announcement out at 9:30, and to no ones surprise – it has dropped from May’s 2.2% down to 1.8% – It hardly affected the market at all.

Yesterday’s trading was busy – I ended up with 59 points while trading my Any-Time System and the ‘Trade With a Day Job’ strategy added to the day’s total by giving me the usual 20 points. Customers of both my systems will be emailed this morning with more details of the individual trades that I took.

I hope you have good day – and I will back here early tomorrow morning as I would like a short working day tomorrow, to prepare for my upcoming break away. As the parents amongst you will realise – the school holidays are fast approaching !
