Markets Mastered is unique in so far as we actually use the trading systems from this website to earn our ‘salary’ every day in the markets rather than just sell strategies which are not tested on a daily basis in the real world.
I have been trading since 1998 but my interest in financial trading goes back to 1990 when I attended a 3 day residential course in Porlock, Somerset with a guy that a lot of you will recognise – Peter Hall of FTS. He ignited a passion which still exists to this day, and I started trading part time with ‘traded options’ and after a few years, with help from a good friend who was a trader at Shearson Lehman (more recently known as Lehman Brothers) I began to understand the vital ingredients that had to be included in a trading system to ensure its success (not the usual ones you will probably know !!) and so I then started to design (and use) my own simple, easy to operate trading strategies.
After losing almost all of my trading account balance within a year, I came to realise that success in the market was not just attributable to a consistent system, so I began to learn about the other facets that go together to complete the education that was necessary for dependable success in the markets. Once I had put into action the various aspects of knowledge that I had highlighted as being crucial, I became consistently profitable on a daily and weekly basis. I was then able to start trading full time and realise a long held ambition – to work wherever I liked and for as many hours as I wanted to.
Over the years I have met many budding traders, all of them insistent that they had found their own personal ‘Holy Grail’ trading system, and one by one, nearly all of them fell by the wayside after losing their entire account balances in a matter of months.
This gave me the idea to put together a complete resource in one easy to understand manual.
